Evanslea has extensive gardens, and an olive grove, to amble through on your way to pat the friendly horses. Enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool after a hit of tennis, or laze away the day with a barbeque picnic under the big peppercorn tree. Fishing in the river is another fun and relaxing activity Evanslea offers, and you might even spot a platypus!

Evanslea is also a pet friendly Mudgee accommodation – your hosts, Vicki and Andrew, are animal lovers and currently have a number of cats, dogs, miniature horses, and a transient population of native animals on the premises.

Visit surrounding towns and villages during the day, and call in for lunch at a friendly local pub or one of the wineries. And in the evening, it's an easy stroll into town to dine at one of the fine restaurants or pubs.
